7 Days Imperial Cities Tour From Tangier To Marrakech Via sahara Merzouga desert

Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

In the morning We will pick you up from your Riad or Port or hotel then you will start our exciting journey towards ‘’ the pearl of Morocco ‘’ Chefchaoeun or cheouen ‘’ via Tetouan – A Unesco World Heritage Site then you will have free time to walk around its whitewashed medina that has a big influence of the Berber, Andalusian and Spanish building which made it rich in history and culture. We then set off to Chefchaoeun to explore this delightful town that looks like no other in the Country. With its steep, narrow streets and white indigo washed buildings makes from it an ideal backdrop for photography. You will hang out in the old medina, Plaza Uta Hammam with its old Kasbah.then You will also have an opportunity to meet with locals, wander in the souks ( markets ) and enjoy this amazing town. After that Overnight in a riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes After breakfast,

you start your journey by visiting the natural water spring name - Ras Elma- and hike to the Spanish mosque panoramic view over the city . We then hit the road to Fes via Ouazzan crossing Rif mountains with their breathtaking landscapes that nature offers us as well as Berber villages all along the way. On the way, we will have some stops to see the landscapes and take fascinating pictures. Late afternoon, we reach Fes. Check into your Riad in the heart of the medina and time to relax.

Day 3 Fez City Tour

After breakfast you will start a full day tour, visiting the oldest town in Morocco. The driver and the professional guide will come to your riad to pick you up to star the day ,then We begin the journey by going to the Royal Palace doors, the Jewish quarter, which is the first Mellah built in Morocco around the sixteenth century. We will ensure that you visit every interesting corner of the old medina with historical and cultural advantage including Al Qaraouine University (the most ancient in the world), the Tanneries, the Mulay Idriss catacomb, and Attarine museum. Directly after lunch, you will continue to the tiles cooperative place and after that watch the superb panoramic view of the whole medina of Fez.

Day 4 : Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat

After breakfast, we leave Fes to the romains ruins places of Volubilis crossing the Saiss plains. Volubilis is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins located between the Imperial Cities of Fez and Meknes on a fertile plain surrounded by wheat fields. In Volubilis, you will have the opportunity to see and discover the charm mosaic tile work as the mosaic of the Labours of Hercules, Basilica, the Baths of Gallienus and Baths of Forum with their fragmentary mosaics, public hammams, triumphal arches, and parliament buildings. In 1997, the archaeological site of Volubilis was inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage site . We continue our journey to Meknes where you will explore: The huge gate of -bab el Mansour- the Granary, The Swani basin, the old medina with its souks and -Lahdim square- where you will relax in one of its Cafées. In the afternoon, We set off for Rabat ( the administrative Capital of Morocco ). Then You will visit The magnificent Kasbah of Oudayas, -Hassan Tower- with its uncompleted minaret, the -Mausoleum of Mohammed V- and the Hassan 2 ( father of the current king ). Overnight in your Riad.

Day 5: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakesh

After Breakfast, we Drive to Casablanca that is the biggest city and the economic Capital of Morocco. Among things that you will visit: The Hassan 2 mosque: the second largest in the world and the only mosque opened to non-muslims,then you will also have a visit to -Riks Café- where Casablanca movie was shotted. Also, we will visit the Habbous quarter built by French in the 1920s before we leave to Marrakesh .night in a Riad in the Medina.

Day 6: Marrakesh Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will start your city tour exploring Marrakesh ( the red city of Morocco ). The guide will ensure that you see the most important spots with historical and cultural interests including The -Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, Ben Youssef Koranic school as well as the largest traditional souk- in Morocco. After lunch in one of the local restaurants near the main square, you can visit the Koutoubia tower and the Majorelle gardens. Overnight in your riad.

Day 7: Marrakesh – Airport

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Riad and drive you to the airport for your flight. End of 7 days Imperial city tour from Tangier to Marrakesh.
